Enabling the Accelerated Data Center

HPC is a fundamental pillar of modern science. To unlock next-generation discoveries, scientists look to simulation to better understand complex molecules for drug discovery, physics for potential new sources of energy, and atmospheric data to better predict and prepare for extreme weather patterns. Today researchers are facing greater computational requirements as large and complex models become more commonplace. Traditional CPU technology is no longer able to keep up with these increasing demands but NVIDIA’s accelerators improve computational performance, dramatically reducing the completion time for parallel tasks, offering quicker time to solutions.
NVIDIA Ampere Family
Unprecedented Acceleration for the World’s Highest-Performing HPC & AI Data Centers

NVIDIA A100 – Unprecedented Acceleration for the World’s Highest-Performing HPC & AI Data Centers
NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPU delivers unprecedented acceleration and flexibility to power the world’s highest-performing elastic data centers for AI, data analytics, and HPC applications. As the engine of the NVIDIA data center platform, A100 provides up to 20X higher performance over V100 GPUs and can efficiently scale up to thousands of GPUs or be partitioned into seven isolated GPU instances with new Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) capability to accelerate workloads of all sizes.
A100’s third-generation Tensor Core technology supports a broad range of math precisions providing a unified workload accelerator for data analytics, AI training, AI inference, and HPC. Accelerating both scale-up and scale-out workloads on one platform enables elastic data centers that can dynamically adjust to shifting application workload demands. This simultaneously boosts throughput and drives down the cost of data centers.
Combined with NVIDIA software stack, A100 accelerates all major deep learning and data analytics frameworks and over 700 HPC applications, and containerized software from NGC helps developers easily get up and running.

AI Training and Inference
Accelerate AI Training and Inference on Data Center Infrastructure
From boosting customer engagement to accelerating health diagnoses to enabling more accurate predictive maintenance, artificial intelligence is transforming every industry. Enterprises know that they need to embrace this change or risk losing out to competitors. But they face challenges with using existing data center infrastructure to power modern AI applications.
Organizations can speed up procurement, deployment, and scaling of their AI infrastructure with a pre-engineered solution ideal for AI Training or Inference workloads in a multitude of environments. In today’s data driven economy, to remain competitive, serve customers better, increase revenue, and save costs, businesses must invest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools and applications. Using AI, organizations are developing and putting into production processes and industry applications that automatically learn, discover, and make recommendations or predictions that can be used to set strategic goals and provide a competitive advantage. To accomplish these strategic goals, organizations require data scientists and analysts who are skilled in developing models and performing analytics on enterprise data. These data analysts require specialized tools, applications, and compute resources to create complex models and analyze massive amounts of data.
